Abstract：Kunxian Capsules is composed of tripterygium hypoglaucum, epimedium herb, barbary wolfberry fruit and dodder seed, has the effect of tonifying kidney and dredging channels, dispelling wind and eliminating dampness, and also has anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive and improving kidney function. It is a commonly used drug in clinical treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other immune diseases. The study of Kunxian Capsules in immunological kidney diseases has attracted increasing attention, focusing on the combination of Kunxian Capsules with hormones and immunosuppressive/cytotoxic drugs to protect kidney function and reduce adverse reactions. In this paper, the pharmacological action and clinical research progress of Kunxian Capsules in the treatment of immunological kidney diseases are reviewed in order to provide references for rational clinical use of drugs.
