Effect study of low-dose Progesterone Injection combined with Baotai Wuyou Capsules on serum P, E2, β-hCG in pregnant women with threatened abortion

Abstract：Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of low-dose Progesterone Injection combined with Baotai Wuyou Capsules on patients with threatened abortion, and serum progesterone (P), estradiol (E2), β-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-hCG) levels. Methods The women with threatened abortion treated in Dandong Women and Children′s Hospital of Liaoning Province from October 2016 to October 2018 were selected as research subjects, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 80 cases in each group. Patients of both groups were given low-dose Progesterone Injection, and observation group was given Baotai Wuyou Capsules. Treatment effect of two groups was observed. Serum P, E2, β-hCG, immune indicators levels and incidence of adverse reactions before and after treatment of two groups were compared. Results Treatment success rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the levels of β-hCG, P and E2 between two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, the levels of β-hCG, P and E2 in two groups were higher than those before treatment, and observation group was higher than that control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the levels of IgG, IgA and IgM between two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, the levels of IgG, IgA and IgM in two groups were higher than those before treatment, and observation group was higher than that control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the total incidence of dizziness, vomiting, breast pain and other adverse reactions between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Low-dose Progesterone Injection combined with Baotai Wuyou Capsules has a good therapeutic effect on women with threatened abortion. It can obviously improve the hormone level of patients and increase the success rate of fertility protection. It has good clinical application value.
