Abstract：Under the new situation, doing a good job in medical and health science and technology novelty search and consultation service can promote the development of medical and health science and technology innovation, so it is closely related to people’s health level. This article first elaborates on the urgent need to do well in medical and health science and technology novelty search consulting services under the new situation, including that the level of medical and health science and technology innovation has been paid attention to by the country, which poses challenges to novelty search consulting services, and under the background of the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the establishment of Xiong’an New Area in Hebei Province posed challenges for novelty search consulting services, and medical and health technology novelty search consulting services were widely recognized. Subsequently, the characteristics of medical and health science and technology novelty search consulting services are analyzed, including the wide range of business types of novelty search consulting services, the expansion of the data resources retrieved from periodicals to books, the subject contains many innovation points and the higher requirements for the compound quality of novelty search personnel. In view of the above characteristics, we have carried out exploratory work from three aspects: the establishment of a number of novelty retrieval and consultation WeChat groups, the completion of novelty retrieval by relevant professional novelty retrieval personnel, and the opening up of a “green channel” for novelty retrieval and consulting services from Xiong’an New Area in Hebei Province.
