Visual analysis of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of perimenopausal syndrome based on CiteSpace

Abstract：Objective To explore the research hotspot and development trend of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of perimenopausal syndrome (PMPS) in recent 20 years. Methods The literature on PMPS treated by traditional Chinese medicine from January 2000 to January 2022 was retrieved from CNKI data, CiteSpace software was used to visualize the authors, research institutions, and key words of the included literature. Results A total of 2 678 literatures were included, and the core authors were represented by Jin Yabei, Wang Jing, and Wang Xiuxia. The core team had not been formed in China, and the research institutions were mainly the university of traditional Chinese medicine, and its affiliated hospitals. Key words correlation atlas showed that the main means of traditional Chinese medicine treatment for PMPS were traditional Chinese medicine compound therapy led by Erxian Decoction and acupuncture therapy of non-drug therapy. The research focused on neuroendocrine immune network. Conclusion The research of PMPS treatment in traditional Chinese medicine mainly focuses on the clinical intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine compound and proprietary medicine, and it is urgent to establish a standardized treatment scheme.
