Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Xiaoer Yanbian Granules combined with Oseltamivir Phosphate in the treatment of children′s influenza A with febrile convulsion. Methods A total of 198 cases with influenza A and febrile convulsion children in Hebei Children′s Hospital from January 2016 to January 2019 were selected as subjects. They were divided into the control group (99 cases) and the observation group (99 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with Oseltamivir Phosphate, and the observation group was treated with Xiaoer Yanbian Granules on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups were evaluated. The turnaround time of clinical symptoms and the recurrence rate of convulsion of the two groups were compared. The serum levels of neuronspecific enolase (NSE), brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), S-100β protein (S-100β), C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-8 (IL-8), interferon-γ (IFN-γ) of the two groups were compared. The adverse reactions of the two groups during the treatment were recorded and compared. Results Total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The pharyngeal swelling pain turnaround time, cough congestion turnaround time, antifebrile time, convulsions disappear time of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group and convulsions recurrence of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (all P < 0.05). The serum levels of NSE, BDNF and S-100β of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (all P < 0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of CRP and IFN-γ were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the level of IL-8 was significantly higher than that before treatment and the serum levels of CRP and IFN-γ in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the level of IL-8 was significantly higher than that in the control group (all P < 0.05). During the treatment, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of Xiaoer Yanbian Granules combined with Oseltamivir Phosphate in the treatment of children′s influenza A with febrile convulsion is significant, which can improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the inflammatory response and brain injury of children, and has good safety.
