Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of ovale forceps combined with Chanhou Zhuyu Capsules to prevent late postpartum hemorrhage. Methods From March 2016 to March 2019, 90 cases of caesarean section and spontaneous delivery women with decidual tissue residue in the uterine cavity and placenta examined were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Chanhou Zhuyu Capsules orally, while the observation group was given oval forceps for clamping and clearing residual decidual tissue on the basis of the control group. The incidence rate of late postpartum hemorrhage, the amount of haemorrhagic lochia, the duration of haemorrhagic lochia, the height of uterine floor and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence rate of late postpartum hemorrhage of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The amount of haemorrhagic lochia in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the duration of haemorrhagic lochia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The uterine floor height of the two groups at 7 d after treatment was lower than that at 4 d after treatment, and the uterine floor height of the observation group at 4 and 7 d after treatment was lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion Oval forceps for clamping and clearing residual decidual tissue combined with Chanhou Zhuyu Capsules to prevent late postpartum hemorrhage has a significant clinical effect, which can lower the incidence rate of late postpartum hemorrhage, reduce the bloody lochia, and shorten the duration of bloody lochia, promote postpartum recovery, and do not increase adverse reactions.
