Abstract:Objective To study the malignant tumor composition and change trend of inpatients in a provincial grade A of level Ⅲ hospital from 2016 to 2018 of Zhangjiakou of Hebei Province. Methods From 2016 to 2018, 14 431 inpatients of malignant tumor in a provincial grade A of level Ⅲ hospital of Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province were selected as the study objects, the basic information of all patients was collected and sorted out, and the composition and change trend of malignant tumors of inpatients from 2016 to 2018 were analyzed. Results The gender and age distribution of inpatients with malignant tumors from 2016 to 2018 were compared, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In 2017 and 2018, there were statistically significant differences in pulmonary malignant tumors, ovarian malignant tumors, and thyroid malignant tumors compared with 2016 (all P < 0.05); and the difference between 2018 and 2016 was statistically significant (P < 0.05). From 2016 to 2018, there was a statistically significant difference in the number of inpatients with malignant tumor undergoing surgery (P < 0.05). Conclusion From 2016 to 2018, the total number of inpatients of malignant tumors in a provincial grade A of level Ⅲ hospital in Zhangjiakou of Hebei Province showed a decreasing trend, in which there are significant differences in patients’ gender, age and disease type, and the number of patients receiving surgical treatment increased year by year. The situation of prevention and control of malignant tumors is severe. Therefore, it is necessary to attract the attention of relevant departments and take corresponding prevention and control measures to better protect the city and surrounding areas residents’ health.
