Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Sevoflurane mask inhalation general anesthesia combined with sacral canal block anesthesia on children undergoing indirect hernia repair. Methods A total of 300 children who underwent laparoscopic indirect hernia repair (single site) in Guigang Peopele’s Hospital,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from January 2016 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into study group (150 cases, Sevoflurane mask inhalation general anesthesia supplemented with sacral block anesthesia) and control group (150 cases, intravenous general anesthesia alone) by random drawing. Heart rate and mean arterial pressure before anesthesia induction (T1), 5 min after anesthesia induction (T2), at the beginning of operation (T3), 15 min after operation (T4), at the end of operation (T5) and at the time of recovery (T6) were compared, and the fluctuation value was statistically analyzed; the recovery time and pain degree were compared between two groups; the occurrence of anesthesia adverse reactions was observed and recorded. Results Compared with T1, heart rate and mean arterial pressure were increased at T2-T6 in control group and at T2-T5 in study group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with control group, heart rate was decreased, and the mean arterial pressure was slowed down in study group at T2-T6, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with control group, the fluctuation values of heart rate and mean arterial pressure in study group were smaller, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with control group, the postoperative recovery time was shortened and the pain score was decreased in study group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with control group, the total incidence of anesthetic adverse reactions in study group was decreased, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Sevoflurane mask inhaled general anesthesia combined with sacral canal block anesthesia has a good effect on the anesthesia of children with indirect hernia repair, and can improve the anesthesia safety.
