Abstract：Traditional Chinese medicine is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine and an important object of traditional Chinese medicine knowledge protection. It is highly valued for its “simplicity, convenience, cheapness, and efficacy”, and has made great contributions to improving the health level of Chinese people. Inheriting and developing traditional Chinese medicine is of great significance to the development of traditional Chinese medicine. This paper analyzes the reasons that restrict the inheritance and development of folk traditional Chinese medicine, and discusses the significance of traditional Chinese medicine protection to the inheritance and development of folk traditional Chinese medicine from the practical point of view of traditional Chinese medicine protection in China.
