Abstract:Objective To analyze the volatile components of Guangdong Eryngium foetidum L. by headspace-solid-phase microextraction-gas chomatogragh-mass spectrometer (HS-SPME). Methods The volatile components of Guangdong Eryngium foetidum L. were analyzed by HS-SPME and Gas shomatogragh-mass spectrometer. The type of extraction head, equilibrium temperature, equilibrium time and extraction time were investigated by single factor experiments to determine the best conditions of SPME, and the relative content of each component was determined by area normalization method. Results Finally, the optimal conditions were determined as follows: polydimethylsiloxane extraction head, sample volume of 0.5 g, equilibrium at 170℃ for 30 minutes, extraction for 30 minutes, and desorption time for three minutes. Sixty samples of coriander powder were isolated and 55 of them were identified. Conclusion The headspace-solid-phase microextraction method was successfully used to analyze the volatile components of Guangdong Eryngium foetidum L..
