Abstract:Objective To analyze the detection of hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipemia in steel workers of HBIS Group Tangsteel Company from 2015 to 2017, and to discuss the current health status of steel workers and countermeasures. Methods The health examination data of steel workers in Department of Long Products, HBIS Group Tangsteel Company from January 2015 to December 2017 were analyzed, while the groups were divided according to year and gender, and the prevalence of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia were compared and performed statistics analysis. Results From 2015 to 2017, the differences in the detection rate of hypertension among steel workers were highly statistically significant (P < 0.01); among them, the differences in the detection rate of hypertension among men in each year were highly statistically significant (P < 0.01); there were no statistically significant differences in the annual detection rate of hypertension among women (P > 0.05). The detection rate of hypertension in men were higher than those in women in 2015 and 2016 (P < 0.01), but there was no statistically significant difference between different genders in 2017 (P > 0.05). The differences in the detection rate of diabetes in steel workers from 2015 to 2017 were highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). Among them, the differences in the detection rate of diabetes in men in each year were highly statistically significant (P < 0.01); compared with the detection rate in women with diabetes in each year, the differences were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The detection rate of diabetes in men were higher than those in women from 2015 to 2017 (P < 0.01). There were no statistically significant difference in the detection rate of hyperlipidemia among steel workers from 2015 to 2017 (P > 0.05). Among them, the differences in the detection rate of male hyperlipidemia in each year were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the differences in the detection rate of female hyperlipidemia in each year were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). The detection rate of hyperlipidemia in men from 2015 to 2017 were higher than those in women, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P < 0.01). Conclusion The company is dominated by male steel workers, and their health status are relatively poor compared with that of female. Special attention should be paid to the “three high” disease prevalence of male steel workers. At the same time, the 2015 to 2017 diabetes detection rate is increasing year by year, and special attention should be paid to the formulation of intervention measures for the prevention of diabetes, which has a positive significance in reducing the prevalence of the “three high” diseases of steel workers.
